Arcell Mitchell II has always had a passion to serve. A native of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, Arcell grew up with a passion for cooking for large groups that was shared with his family at reunions and gatherings. This was the beginning of a hospitality career that would prioritize liveliness and showmanship in the group dining experience.
Arcell initially started a career in information technology, but his heart was always in hospitality. After a career pivot, he earned more than five years of experience in a variety of restaurants, making his way up from busser to general manager. He always had a love for hibachi restaurants, enjoying both the food and the unique, interactive cooking performances. After acquiring a well-known, local hibachi restaurant, Arcell kept the name that had been established ten years before: Samurai Hibachi Sushi & Bar.
